Ubuntu
Ubuntu is an ancient African philosophy
meaning 'humanity to others'.
Reminding us that 'I am what I am because of who we all are'.
When we consider the consequences of each of our actions,
the knock on effect should be to empower and lift each of those around us.
We are a team,
by having consideration for each other and
being mindful of the choices we make
in little day to day tasks,
we can choose to create harmony.
I learnt about this in the inspiring Netflix documentary 'The Playbook' with Doc Rivers coach of the 2008 Celtics basketball team, leading them to their first championship win in 22 years.
"It's not a word, its a way of life"
